                                                                                                                                                                      The Costa Calida is situated in the south-east of the Iberian Peninsula. To the north lies the Costa Blanca and to the south lies the Costa de Almeria. It has a total of 250 kilometers of glorious coastline with many beaches situated on the Mar Menor and the Mediterranean Sea. Blessed by the mild Mediterranean climate it has at least 310 days of sun per year.

 

The Mar Menor is Europes largest salt water lagon with over 170 square kilometres of warm, calm water.

On the shores of the Mar Menor there are a number of small towns – Santiago de la Ribera, San Pedro/Lo Pagan, Los Alcazares to name a few- All have a truly traditional feel to them that are starting to build small intimate residential areas for people who look for a different way to spend time in the Sun in Spain.
